Somizi finally gets a reality show

The Idols judge says his reality show is about showing people that they can live the Somizi dream.

It’s official – Somizi Mhlongo will star in his own reality show.

After a lot of speculation about whether or not it was true that Mhlongo is getting his own reality show, it has been confirmed, from the horse’s mouth that fans can expect to see more of the  choreographer on television in a show he is expected to star in with his 21-year-old daughter, Bahumi.

Bahumi is Mhlongo daughter with actress Palesa Madisakwane, who is best known for her role as music executive Palesa in SABC1 soapie Generations.

Speaking to popular rapper Slikour on Slikour On Life Mhlongo revealed that people can expect his show Living the Dream with Somizi very soon on television.

The South African Idols judge says his reality show is about showing people that they can live the Somizi dream but says it takes hard work and doesn’t happen overnight.

“It’s not about the flamboyant lifestyle, the Louis Vuitton and stuff – those are just accessories. There’s an entrepreneur behind Somizi; there’s a family man behind Somizi; there’s a father; there’s a breadwinner; there’s a hard worker… So, it is mainly about that,” he told Slikour.
