Google Earth has changed the way we see the world, literally. Google Earth allows us to visit places we can only dream of seeing, and it allows us to virtually travel through the streets of distant cities and towns. Sometimes when you are nostalgic for a place far, far away, a simple click can take you to your escapist paradise.

Of course Street View also has practical applications. It can be used to get a feel for where you are going on Google Maps and you can share routes and locations easily with people coming to see you. However, there is another side to the Google eye, and that is you may never know just when and what it will record!
