Pics: Oprah walks former SA Academy pupil down the aisle
The media mogul wore a kaftan created by South African designer Gert-Johan Coetzee to the wedding.
Oprah Winfrey’s relationship with a former learner from her Leadership Academy in South Africa came full circle a few days ago
The ‘queen of talk’ walked Glori Nelson (née Rapalalani) down the aisle during a posh ceremony in Atlanta.
Glori was one of the first students to graduate from Oprah’s girls-only boarding school.
She went on to obtain her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Marketing and Management from Savannah College of Art and Design.
She currently lives in America.
Oprah helped Glori find the perfect dress for her big day
“We’ve known these girls since they were 12 and 13 coming to my school. Graduating from college. Grad school. Now our first wedding. Looking for the perfect dress,” she wrote on Instagram one month before the ceremony.

Glori’s former college professor Elizabeth Burns also walked her down the aisle.
“My three mama bears walked me down the aisle. One walked me in spirit. I lost my mum when I was ten and her spirit gained me to them. A praying mum, dead or alive, is sooooo powerful! (sic)” glory wrote on Instagram.
