Marvel fans have been urged not to spoil the surprise for others after snippets from the much-anticipated Avengers sequel were leaked. Five-minute videos from Avengers: Endgame have surfaced online, and director duo Anthony and Joe Russo have urged fans to keep spoilers to themselves.
Although some pirated Avengers: Endgame clips appear to have been taken down, short clips including detailed posts circulated on social media. The source of the leaked footage remains unknown, but appears to have prompted the Russo brothers to issue a statement after pirated footage, recorded from the film, showed a scene from the much-anticipated blockbuster.
“We are about to see Avenger: Endgame within a few days. Since not everyone will be able to watch the movie on the first day. We request you to keep silence until a couple of weeks after the movie release in order to avoid spoiling the story or plot details for our fellow marvel fans.
“We request you to keep a safe distance from social media so that the movie won’t be spoiled for you and you won’t spoil it for others. We know you are excited. We know you want to talk about this all day. But there is a time for everything.”
