Gauteng IFP sends condolences on passing of Mogale City mayor

The party says Lipudi's passing is a great loss deeply felt by his family, friends, comrades and all the citizens of Mogale City.

The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) in Gauteng has sent condolences on the passing of Mogale City mayor Patrick Lipudi, who died on Sunday after a short illness.

IFP Gauteng publicity secretary Sibusiso Phakathi said the party was saddened by the news of Lipudi’s passing.

“This is a great loss which is deeply felt by the late mayor’s family, friends, comrades and all the citizens of Mogale City, who affectionately dubbed him the ‘people’s mayor’ because of his servant leadership style.

“The IFP sends its sincerest condolences to mayor Lipudi’s family and friends and all the people of Mogale City who are mourning their distinguished servant leader.

“We are extremely saddened to hear about this loss. He has left an indelible impact and his good deeds shall never be forgotten. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”
