Win a night in the Disney Cinderella Castle

An American charity is giving away this unique opportunity as part of a massive fundraiser.

It’s one of the rarest experiences in travel and now one random person stands the chance of spending a night in the Cinderella Castle at Disney World.

This iconic castle has formed the centrepiece of Disney World since its inception, is featured at the beginning of each movie and is instantly recognisable the world over, but staying there is not something that can be bought at any price. A guest would only be allowed to stay in the castle if invited to do so. As a result, staying at the castle is a dream many Disney fans have, but will likely never be able to achieve.

Now a charity contest to benefit the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF) is giving away a night in the 17th-century French chateau-styled Cinderella Suite.

The winner will be able to take three guests for one magical night in the suite. The trip will include two-day Disney Park Hopper passes, a VIP tour of the park and a dinner at Narcoossee’s, the waterfront restaurant on Seven Seas Lagoon. Round-trip flights and one additional night at a four-star hotel are included in the prize.

Hopefuls can enter the competition by donating a minimum of $10 (R145), which earns 100 entries into the draw. You can also enter without donating by scrolling to the bottom of the contest page, clicking “Read more,” scrolling down again, and selecting “Alternative Method of Entry.” You’ll only get one entry as opposed to the 100 that people who donate $10 will get, but it’s better than nothing.

The contest is open until May 16 and a winner will be announced on May 30. The winner must book their trip by January 2022.
