Is Cardi B about to drop a makeup line?

Cardi B has hinted that she has a beauty line on the way.

The rapper admitted that her beauty line is coming “very soon” when questioned about it during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, as reported by Allure.

The Grammy Award winner declined to offer up any further details about the secretive project, but if the new venture is anything like her first foray into the cosmetics industry then it is sure to be a hit with beauty buffs.

The recording artist inspired a royal blue lipstick by prestige beauty mogul Tom Ford, which was unveiled last September during New York Fashion Week.

At the time of its release, she took to Instagram to thank the beauty brand, adding the cryptic message: “So excited for this and what’s to come!!”, and sparking speculation that a collaboration could be in the works.

A beauty line would be the next logical step for Cardi, who has been hard at work dominating both the music and fashion industries of late. The star unveiled her second clothing collection for the fast fashion retailer Fashion Nova earlier this week, having already been snapped up by Reebok to promote its Aztrek sneaker back in November.

Celebrity beauty lines have seen a major resurgence recently, with famous faces such as Rihanna and Kim Kardashian leading the way with their hugely successful cosmetics ventures.

Meanwhile Jennifer Lopez, Ashley Graham and Chrissy Teigen have all made waves by collaborating with major beauty brands on joint colour cosmetics collections.
