The award-winning Empty Shop, now open until November 20, is a novel way to give to charity. The launch, attended by 11 Miss South Africa 2017 semifinalists, saw nearly 80kg of clothing donated by guests, including 195 shirts, 95 pants, 34 dresses and 24 pairs of shoes.
The concept is simple: donate, style and empty. Every evening the store will be emptied and ready to receive new donations. Taking place in the Checkers Court, in Sandton City, The Empty Shop is also looking for accessories, children’s books, games and toys
