2001 Morgenster Lourens River Valley Red
Garnet edged deep vermillion. Smokey forest floor whiffs some light truffle notes with sweet fruit in background, fine tannins, spicey plum pudding notes, persistent.

2009 Bartinney Noble Savage Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
Maroon tinged mid crimson. Fresh, savoury red berry and faintly herbal fruit, smooth delicately textured and slightly plush on the palate, warmish finish.
