Here is a tasty sandwich that you can enjoy if you are trying to lose weight.


Try experimenting with sandwiches if you need to cut down on calories and achieve those weight loss targets sooner. Here is a suggestion for a delicious sandwich.

Cucumber and cheese sandwiches

Cucumbers are not just great to have on their own or in a salad – they are divine when used as a filling for sandwiches too!

Smear a tablespoon of peanut butter, avocado or spreadable cheese onto two slices of bread, place thin shavings of cucumber onto one piece of bread, then top it with the other slice. Easy to prepare and tasty to eat as a snack, or perhaps even as a quick meal!

You can make this sandwich support your weight-loss efforts by using a whole-grain high-fibre loaf cut into thin slices of bread instead of thick ones. Lastly, opt for a low-fat cheese instead of full-fat alternatives.
