Beat the heat this weekend by creating these delicious and refreshing easy homemade cocktails.
If you do not enjoy alcohol or cannot indulge in alcoholic beverages for whatever reason then you can refrain from adding alcohol to these cocktail recipes, and you can create the virgin version of these cocktails.
Porn star martini cocktail
Ingredients
- 45g of vanilla flavoured vodka
- 15g of passion fruit liqueur (such as Passoã or De Kuyper)
- 30g of passion fruit puree
- 15g of ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 15g of ounce vanilla simple syrup
- 30g of sparkling wine, chilled
- Garnish: 1/2 cup passion fruit
Instructions
- Add all ingredients except sparkling wine into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well-chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a passion fruit half.
- Serve with a sparkling wine sidecar (on the side).

Daiquiri
Ingredients
- 6 cups of ice
- ½ cup of white sugar
- 120g of frozen strawberries
- ⅛ cup of lime juice
- ½ cup of lemon juice
- ¾ cup of rum
- ¼ cup of lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
Instructions
- In a blender, combine ice, sugar and strawberries. Pour in lime juice, lemon juice, rum and lemon-lime soda. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

Gin sour
Ingredients
- 60g of London dry gin
- 30g of lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 15g of ounce simple syrup
- 15g of ounce egg white or aquafaba (optional)
- Garnish: lemon twist (optional)
- Garnish: 3 drops Angostura bitters (optional)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a shaker and vigorously dry-shake (without ice) if using egg white or aquafaba.
- Add ice and shake again until well-chilled.
- Strain into a coupe glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist. Or if using egg white or aquafaba, decorate the frothy top with 3 to 5 drops of Angostura bitters.
