Recipe: Pumpkin-apple smoothie

This decadent treat is a great way to boost your protein intake.


Ingredients

1 ½ cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 ⅓ cups chopped apples (2 medium)
½ (425g) can pumpkin
¾ cup plain non-fat Greek yoghurt
½ cup ice
2 tbsp maple syrup
¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice
⅛ tsp salt
¼ cup high-protein honey-almond-flavour granola

Method

1. In a blender, combine almond milk, apples, pumpkin, yoghurt, ice, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice and salt.

2. Cover and blend until smooth.

3. Top each serving with one tablespoon of the granola.
