This dish takes SA's favourite snack and transforms it into haute cuisine, with budget-conscious flair.
Ingredients
100g biltong per person
1 glass full cream milk per person
1 glass water per person
1 sachet harissa pesto for 2 people
Peppadews, to taste
2 figs per person
Blue cheese, to taste
Method
1. Add all ingredients to the pot at the same time and cook until the flavours combine.
2. Use milk and water as needed for a thicker or runnier soup mixture.
3. Only add spice to taste afterwards, as harissa pesto and peppadews can be spicy.
