Cooking on a daily basis can sometimes feel like a tedious chore, and buying takeout or eating at restaurants can get really expensive and burn a few holes in your pockets.
If you do not particularly enjoy spending time slaving over the stove, then you should definitely try these four cooking hacks to make preparing food much more easier.
Breakfast has never been easier with James Lamprey‘s quick over-easy eggs cooking hack.
James has shared a video on TikTok where he demonstrates how he makes over-easy eggs in minutes without flipping or tossing the eggs.
In the video, he cracks open an egg, and then places it inside a pan. While the egg cooks and the egg whites are noticeably white on the pan, he then adds a little water around the egg.
He then closes the pan with a lid and leaves the egg to cook for two minutes, and once that time passes, he opens the pan and the egg has been cooked to his preference.

Buying pizza can get costly if you enjoy eating it on a regular basis, and making your own pizza can be a long process if you need to make the pizza crust and dough from scratch.
Rachel Loaf has taken to TikTok to share her easy homemade pizza recipe which makes use of tortilla’s instead of dough for the pizza base.
In the video, she puts some olive oil in a pan, and then puts in a tortilla wrap, cooking it until its slightly brown on the bottom.
She then puts tomato sauce, grated cheese, and all her other favourite pizza toppings on top of the tortilla, and then places it into the pan into the oven for a couple of minutes to melt the cheese.

Everybody loves pasta, but nobody loves the mess which comes with boiling your pasta.
Sarah and her adorable dog Sirius have shared a video on TikTok which shows us how to avoid having your pasta water spill over while boiling your pasta.
In the video, Sarah prepares a pot of pasta, and we can see the water nearing to the brim. Before the water gets the chance to spill over, she throws in an ice cube which stops the rate at which the water is boiling, and we can see the water stops to rise, and levels down in the pot.

This one is for the lazy garlic lovers.
We all known that garlic is a key ingredient that enhances most meals, but mincing garlic may seem like a tedious task if you have to do it when preparing most of your meals.
TikTok user Tom has shared a video where he demonstrates how he minces his garlic in seconds.
In the video, he places two garlic gloves onto a wooden chopping board, and then places cling wrap onto the garlic cloves.
He then takes his meat tenderiser, and smashes the garlic a few times to mince his garlic in seconds and have it ready to be added to whichever meal he is preparing.
