6 brunch spots to try this long weekend

Mimosa cocktails are usually served at weddings, or as part of business or first class service, and have now become the star of the show at brunch

The idea of breakfast being merged with lunch is the perfect combination, and people across the globe have hopped onto the phenomenon that is brunch. Who does not love a late morning meal that is accompanied by ice cold mimosas (orange juice mixed with champagne)?

Eden Storom, CEO of 4th Nomad, a Digital Marketing, Brand Design and Wed Design business, has expressed how she meets up with her clients, and holds business meetings at her favourite brunch spots, with the intentions of  never having to miss out on the experience that is brunch.

Storom has listed her favourite brunch spots in Gauteng, here they are:

16th St, Hazelwood, Pretoria

“We at culture club define ‘tapas’ as more a style of eating than strictly Spanish recipes. Our menu combines mixed influences from the Mediterranean, Middle East, Asia, and some great local flavours too”. Culture Club has a really great atmosphere. A lot of the seating is outside, and that allows you to get the view of the village, and all the activities that happen in the village. The food is fantastic. They have tapas that are amazing.

Blos cafe

66 Olympus Rd &, Leander Rd, Faerie Glen, Pretoria

Creative breakfasts, gourmet sandwiches, and light lunches in a contemporary-farmhouse setting. Blos Cafe has a really peaceful setting, tucked away among the trees, so you get a sense of being away from the city when you’re dining in the café.
