UlangaBar to host third beer fest

The festival is expected to feature live entertainment, top-grade food stalls, and a bottomless bar.

UlangaBar, Mzansi’s inimitable mobile bar brand, is famous for stirring up watering holes with its signature cocktails – including Ko Mkokotlong, Manyonyoba, Hlaudi and Mavuso.

And it will host its third annual UlangaBar Beer Fest tomorrow at Muldersdrift Plot 20 on Driefontein Road.

“Naturally, this year’s edition will be bigger and better as we grow stronger with each instalment,” says the event’s cofounder, Lesiba Langa.

“We will be launching 10 new tantalising cocktail ranges which will follow our Mzansi-inspired naming convention.

“We are currently sampling our latest offering, dubbed Rosalia – Ha Monate Jwang.”

UlangaBar BeerFest is expected to feature live entertainment, top-grade food stalls, including SA’s popular gourmet burger joint, BlackChef, and a bottomless bar with kegs of craft and local draughts.

“There is a mountain of laughter on the cards, with comedian and social media sensation, the FunnyChef, getting into the mix as official brand ambassador.

“The growth of UlangBar BeerFest has attracted new partners, which we are excited and grateful for,” Langa said.

“We are also pleased to unveil Nedbank as the official sponsors of our beer fest, who will not only extend much-needed support to pull off a great event, but will also provide smart payment solutions for the convenience of both vendors and our guests,” he added

The executive head of marketing for card, transactional and payments at Nedbank, Desmond Osman, said: “We’re excited to partner with UlangaBar as they continue to grow and expand their offering. “

As a client-centred organisation, we are pleased to provide safe and secure payment solutions to meet the needs of the BeerFest-goers.

“We look forward to staging yet another entertaining social event that brings South Africans together to enjoy the best of life,” concluded Langa.

Tickets are available at Computicket for R100 and will also be available at the door.
