Recipe: Monkey Coke cocktail

Discover a taste unlike any other.

Monkey Shoulder, blended malt Scotch whisky, reveals the Monkey Coke to enjoy while you kick your shoes off and unwind with your mates after a long day at the office.

The Monkey Coke is made up of Coca-Cola and Monkey Shoulder (as the name so eloquently suggests), served on ice.

The combination of Monkey Shoulder and coke dashed on the rocks highlights the authentic spirit of Monkey Shoulder and the humble care that goes into creating the exceptionally smooth, one-of-a-kind taste that makes our award-winning scotch whisky exquisite from the first sip to the last drop.

Keep it simple and enjoy this incredibly easy drink. It’s so simple that if you happen to run out of Coke, you’d be enjoying a nice dram on the rocks.

Ingredients

50ml Monkey Shoulder
60ml Coca-Cola
Loads of Ice

Method

1. Take a chilled old fashioned whisky glass (a short, manly looking one) and fill with ice.

2. Fill glass just over half way with Coca-Cola.

3. Add your measured amount of the one and only Monkey Shoulder.

Tip

If you’ve layered your Monkey Shoulder over the cola, here’s a straw sip tip:

Take a large straw sip of cola from the bottom, then take a sip of the top Monkey Shoulder layer without the straw to get the maximum highball Monkey Shoulder flavour!
