Although spring has not yet officially sprung, it is around the corner and everyone is looking to mark the new season in different ways. Spring/summer nail design ideas are just one of the ways you can do so.
Grooming is not all about being vain, in fact, taking the time out to groom can be an act of self-care.
There’s also just something about being groomed that makes you feel like you have a life together, therefore, calming you at a subconscious level.
Here are a few spring/summer nail design ideas to try out over the next few months:
Iridescent nails
You cannot talk about nail design and not mention influencer and content creator Melissa ‘Missy’ Roberts. Whether she has them short or long, she always makes sure to have her nails on point.
One of our favourite looks from Missy is this iridescent look on classic pink nails.
Iridescence is the phenomenon of certain surfaces that appear to gradually change colour as the angle of view or the angle of illumination changes.
Examples of iridescence include soap bubbles, feathers, butterfly wings and seashell nacre, as well as certain minerals when they give off that almost transparent rainbow look in their surface against their primary colour.
Triple threat
Another nail art lover is influencer, content creator and make-up artist Foyin Ogunrombi, popularly known as Foyin Og. If you’re looking for spring/summer nail design ideas, she’s your girl.
When people get their nails done, they usually go for either choose just a colour, an elaborate design or a cool new shape but with this particular design, Foyin shows that you can go for all three.
