Cassper, Dineo and Thembisa make news

Here's a recap of what you might have missed

While we were away enjoying family time, Celebville was busy being wrapped up in controversy and cheating rumours. Here is what our celebs got up to during the festive season:

Cassper Nyovest accused of cheating

Boity Thulo and Cassper Nyovest have made headlines this year as one of South Africa’s most talked about celebrity couples, with both celebs having had a good run in their respective fields. There have been rumours that the couple has broken up, Daily Sun reports that sources close to the couple have confirmed the break up.

The publication further reports that it is alleged that Boity called off the relationship when she discovered that Cassper was romantically involved with other women.

Cassper has however denied the rumours saying that they are still together and also retweeted an article suggesting that they are still together. Boity has however not made any comment on the matter.

Only time will tell if Cassper was being a hypocrite for saying AKA could not handle two women.

Lebo M and Zoe Mthiyane engaged

Lebo M, who is known as the voice and spirit of The Lion King production, proposed to his partner, Zoe Mthiyane in Cape Town on Saturday.

This after him and Zoe welcomed a baby girl earlier this year. Lebo M was the man behind the composing and producing of music for The Lion King stage productions and movies.

Zoe could not wait to share the news with the world. She posted this on her Instagram:

Ntsiki Mazwai accused Stoane Seate of being an absent father

Ntsiki Mazwai took center stage on social media as she took jabs at former Bongo Maffin member, Stoan Seate for being an “absent father” to her niece.

Stoan recently appeared on the cover of Drum magazine with his wife and children, talking about his family life.

Ntsiki then took to her blog and social media to oust Stoan as an absent father to his daughter with fellow Bongo Maffin member, Thandiswa Mazwai.

Ntsiki penned an in depth article about her resentment at fathers who leave all parenting responsibilities to mothers. In the blog she wrote:

“Besides the children whose hearts get broken by this insensitive rejection, the family of that child is most affected. The family has to find answers to questions that cut deep. I for one am shattered when my niece ask,

‘Why doesn’t daddy love me?

This question does not hurt him…it hurts the people raising the child.”

The Sunday Sun reported that during their divorce proceedings, a paternity test revealed that he is not the father. The publication also reported that Atandwa has verified the rumours.

Thembisa, who also appears on The Road, a Mzansi Magic soap, was trending on Twitter when the reports broke hours before her first episode of Our Perfect Wedding was aired.

Dineo Ranaka in trouble with the cops

Dineo Ranaka allegedly assaulted a girl in an upmarket Jozi restaurant, in the exclusive gated suburb of Dainfern. Ranaka, who was celebrating her birthday, allegedly plunged a bottle of champagne into 22-year-old Tehila Nothnagel’s face.

According to reports, the feud did not end there, Ranaka went on to threaten the victim on Instagram, posting: @dineoranka: It was an ice bucket you idiot! And I would do it again! Talking smack about my kids, my children when you’re drunk as F! I would beat you the F up again! I’m not your age mate neither am I your friend! I would ice bucket you again any day for talking smack about my kids. You’re a pathetic attention-seeking, drunken idiot! Handle your liquor or I’ll handle you!

Let’s see how this one plays out.
