Taxi driver on the run after assaulting Abigail Kubeka in road rage incident
Police are investigating a case of common assault.
Gauteng police have launched a manhunt for a taxi driver who allegedly assaulted legendary actor and musician Abigail Kubeka. Kubeka reportedly got into an argument with the taxi driver after a crash involving her car and his taxi in Orlando East, Soweto, last week.
Kubeka confirmed the incident to the tabloid.
Gauteng police spokesperson Brigadier Mathapelo Peters told the Daily Sun: “The driver of the taxi allegedly stopped and assaulted the victim, who sustained injuries to the upper body. The suspect fled the scene after the incident and is wanted as he needs to face the might of the law.”
Police were investigating a case of common assault.
