Beyonce’s Lemonade album, and subsequent tour, vaulted her to the top.

Beyonce has topped Google’s year-end list of the most searched artists and songs.

Queen Bee not only beat Celine Dion, Kesha, Kehlani and Coldplay, but her song, Formation, even bested Prince’s Purple Rain and Rae Sremmurd’s Black

The top 10 music artist search list, according to Google data, is a fascinating snapshot of 2016 virality.

Beyonce’s Lemonade album – and tour – vaulted her to the top; Dion’s return to Las Vegas kept her in the news and Kesha’s legal battle with ex-boss Luke earned her headlines. Kehlani made news in 2016 thanks to her spot on the Suicide Squad soundtrack.
