Kaizer Motaung Jr and Mbali Nkosi ‘an item’

There seems to be light at the end of the tunnel for the former Kaizer Chiefs striker, who has reportedly found love again.

It seems Former Chiefs striker Kaizer Motaung Jr has found love in the arms of Big Brother Mzansi season 2 finalist and presenter Mbali Nkosi. Sunday Sun reports to have spotted the two kissing on Hyde Park’s rooftop last week. The paper also reports that a source claimed Nkosi has been with Motaung since the beginning of his troubled marriage. Motaung Jnr could not be reached for comment.

Motaung has been making headlines recently for his troubled marriage to Kathrine Motaung, after reports of alleged physical abuse emerged. Motaung, 35, had obtained an interim protection order against his wife and told the South Gauteng High Court that his German-born wife violently pulled him by the collar of his shirt, poked him in the face and aggressively rubbed her breasts against his chest, Sunday World reported.

Kathrine reportedly abused her husband in the presence of their domestic worker and later lied about the incidences, claiming Motaung was the one who had assaulted her.

However, Motaung Jr denied reports that he was aggressive, violent and had committed an act of domestic violence against her.

According to court papers seen by the Sunday paper, it was in fact Kathrine who had allegedly abused Motaung’s mother, the wife of Kaizer Chiefs boss Kaizer Motaung Sr.

Motaung further claimed his wife provoked him by changing TV channels when he watches soccer matches, distracting him from work as he watches them to help him with his administration work at the family club.

“I missed most of the match because of the respondent’s conduct. She walked into where I was watching the match and provocatively switched channels from the match onto another channel deliberately to interrupt my soccer viewing. This was clear provocation and designed to upset me. I immediately said to her ‘don’t be disruptive, I’m watching TV, leave me alone’,” he told the paper.
