‘I remember growing up, every beautiful car was driven by a white man,’ says Zakes.

Zakes Bantwini's Instagram post.

Moved by the love he was receiving from the children and how much they reminded him of himself when he was still a young boy and dreaming of the  life he now has, award-winning house music singer Zakes Bantwini took to Instagram recently to share a photo of himself and two young boys he bumped into while driving.

“Saw these guys driving by KwaMaphumulo on Monday they waved at my car with a big smile. My thinking was, I remember growing up, every beautiful car was driven by a white man, so I stopped and jumped off so they can see one of their own speaking their language and driving this car,” the music heavyweight captioned the picture.

Bantwini continued by motivating young people: “Now they know that they too can see themselves doing the same and possibly more…#neverstopdreaming#africanchilditspossib.”
