Rouge goes international

Hip hop star “Rouge” has signed a global deal with David Gresham record company.

Rouge’s debut single “Mbongo-Zaka feat. Moozlie” is enjoying high radio rotation across Africa and will be released worldwide on 22 April, with Rouges debut album expected in August/September.

“I’m excited to take on this journey with David Gresham Entertainment. It will only be Up hill from here.” Says Rouge on the signing. Rouge was Inspired as a child by Lauryn Hill and Kanye West, her compositions combine elements of rap, dance, and hip-hop.

Rouges’ tremendous vocal execution and punch lines has made her an instant favorite at both radio stations & on the stage.  Although she only wrote her first song at the age of 19, Rouge had been taking part in acting, public speaking and poetry, not knowing she was preparing herself for what was to come.

Rouge graduated with a degree in Drama at the University of Pretoria. Rouge incorporates some French in her lyrics because of her Congolese origins.
