1938 Superman comic sells for R46.6 million
When the 1938 version of Man of Steel first hit the shelves, it cost just 10 cents.

One man’s trash is another man’s million-dollar treasure has never rung more true than after a Superman comic book found among a stack of old movie magazines was just sold for $3.2 million (nearly R47 million).
When the 1938 version of Man of Steel first hit the shelves it cost just 10 cents.
Superman first appeared in Action Comics in 1938, published by National Allied Publications which was later renamed DC Comics.
