With these easy and quick homemade stain-removing hacks and tips, doing the laundry will be a less-tedious task.
Deodorant, perfumes and sweat tend to leave some stains on the armpits of your shirts which sometimes cannot be removed by simply washing them with washing powder and water.
TikTok user Kirsten has shared her three-ingredient remedy which tackles yellow armpit stains. In the video, she mixed equal parts of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and liquid dishwashing soap in a small bottle.
She then says to apply the remedy to the armpit stains, and then rub the remedy in well. After rubbing the remedy into the stains, she recommends leaving the shirt for an hour, even longer if possible, and then tossing the shirt into the washing machine to wash with cold water.

Carpet stains are the most common, stubborn and frequent stains found in many homes. Having children and white carpets in the common areas of your home means the risk of having mud, food, crayon and drink stains on your carpets.
Kamana Bhaskaran has taken to TikTok to share her carpet-stain remedy, which will remove any stain from all carpets.
In the video, she mixes one cup of water, one cup of vinegar, and one tablespoon of liquid dishwashing soap into a spray bottle.
She then shakes the bottle to mix the ingredients, and then sprays the remedy directly onto the carpet stains.
Kamana then uses a spoon to scrub out the stains, which eventually disappear after a few scrubs.

Injuries and nose bleeds can lead to unwanted blood stains on your clothes. Dried-up blood has proven to be one of the toughest stains to remove on clothes, especially if your clothing item has been stained and unwashed for quite some time.
The Cleantok tips page has shared a video that demonstrates a hack on how to get rid of dried-up blood stains from your white clothing.
They recommended spraying hydrogen peroxide onto the stain and then applying liquid dishwashing soap onto the hydrogen peroxide. Once those two products have been applied to the stain, they then recommend that you brush and scrub the products into the stain until the stain disappears.

Grease and oil spilt or smudged on clothes tend to leave a yellow and tough-to-clean stain.
The Good Housekeeping UK TikTok account shared a video demonstrating how to remove grease and oil stains from both dark and light clothing items.
The video begins with a woman scraping off the hardened grease or oil from the shirt with a kitchen butter knife.
She then continues to dab a white cotton shirt with a wet cloth and liquid dishwashing soap.
She moves onto a dark silk shirt and dabs the stain on the shirt with a stain-removing detergent.
After dabbing both shirts with the different products, she tosses them into the washing machine and washes them with hot water.
