Ariana Grande is planning to launch a new range of beauty products inspired by her latest album.
The US pop star has made an application to trademark the name “Ariana Grande Thank U, Next”, reports WWD.
The trademark would cover perfumes, body lotions, bath and shower gels, body scrubs and other body care products such as mists and powders.
Grande is no stranger to the beauty industry; she has already launched six perfumes in less than four years. The first fragrance “Ari by Ariana Grande” was unveiled in September 2015, and by December 2017 the star achieved global sales of $150 million.
She has also released a sweet and fruity scent called “Moonlight”; a unisex perfume made in collaboration with her brother titled “Frankie by Ariana Grande”; and “Sweet Like Candy” which contains a sugary combination of berries, vanilla, marshmallow, and precious woods.
All-natural beauty product company Lush Cosmetics also honoured Grande last November by creating a “Goddess” bath bomb that was inspired by her music video God is a Woman.
Grande’s success in the cosmetics industry sees her join the ranks of Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, and Nicki Minaj, who are all dominating the celebrity fragrance market.
