The Lo Down: Summer scents
As spring turns into summer, now is the best time to experiment with a fresh new fragrance.

As the seasons change, so too does your skin’s chemistry so what may have worked in winter will probably be too overpowering in the warmer months. The finishing touch to any outfit, the perfect summer scent is light and refreshing. Here are four of my favourite fragrances for summer.
Aura by Swarovski
“An aura of carefree elegance and effortless seduction”
Aura is a summery blend of litchi fruit elements combined with floral notes of roses. At first spritz, you’ll smell the floral note of tuberose which then settles into the base notes of amber, benzoin, and white musk. This perfume’s bottle is something special too – crafted with glass and metal, and topped with Swarovski crystals with a light pink liquid inside the elegant bottle.

Fantasy by Britney Spears

A combination of succulent fruits and the pop star’s favourite white florals, Fantasy is a light, flirtatious scent that is a perfect fit for summer picnics that turn into evening sundowners. Top notes of this fragrance include red lychee and exotic kiwi which playfully mix with jasmine petals and white chocolate – so you’ll leave the house smelling like a dessert.

Angel by Thierry Mugler
