Chanel has introduced six new nail polish shades, including a ravishing mermaid-like hue.

For a lot of countries around the world, summer is finally here.

As thoughts turn to blissful days spent by the ocean, it seems the beauty industry is one step ahead.

Here’s a look at some of the shimmery, colourful mermaid-esque makeup launches making waves this season.

Kylie Cosmetics

Kylie Jenner launched her brand Kylie Cosmetics’ summer collection last week, appropriately named ‘Under the Sea.’

The series includes four new Shimmer Eye Glazes in beachy hues, including a striking aquamarine colourway that will have you dreaming of clear waters.

Tarte Cosmetics

Cruelty-free brand Tarte Cosmetics has added several products to its clean beauty SEA Collection, including three new vegan foil finger pocket palettes that feature two foil shadows and a glitter gel topper each.

All the hues have been inspired by starry, beach nights and have been designed for application with the fingers, making them ideal for poolside touch-ups.
