It’s the biggest red carpet in the world, and one that is judged savagely by the press.

Hits and misses on the Oscars’ red carpet become ingrained in pop culture and this year, celebrities did not disappoint with a few standouts and crazy flops.

Perfection

For more of an empire waist, British actress Gemma Chan arrived in this hot pink Valentino gown which was one of the evening’s successful looks.
