Tyler Perry wants you to read Trevor Noah’s book

One social media user has suggested to the American filmmaker that he should turn the book into a movie.

American actor and filmmaker Tyler Perry is loving Trevor Noha’s book, Born A Crime, and wants his 4.8 million Twitter followers to get their own copies.

Perry went on Twitter and posted a selfie holding the book. The caption read: “HEY! Go get this incredible book by @Trevornoah so we can read it together!”

Noah has moved to the United States where he presents late night talk show, The Daily Show. Perry’s post left many South Africans on social media feeling proud of Noah’s success overseas.

One even suggested to the filmmaker that he should turn the book into a movie.

Some brought up TV and radio personality Bonang Matheba’s book controversy. Her book, From A to B, was removed from shelves after complaints about spelling and grammar mistakes from those who had bought it.
