TZANEEN: Gear up for Limpopo’s toughest marathon The Spar Tzaneen Tuffy

You can still enter for the annual Tuffy in the scenic Magoebaskloof.

More than a thousand athletes are expected to run the 7th annual Spar Tzaneen Tuffy 4-in-1 marathon.

The event takes place on Saturday 7 March at Lombard Avocado, AB 34, Old Coach House road, Agatha, Tzaneen. The Tuffy is regarded as Limpopo’s toughest race.

It comprises of a 42.2km, 21.2km, 10km and 5km fun run. The 42.2km starts at 06:00 and the other distances at 06:10.

 

The event is presented by The Tzaneen Marathon Club with Spar, Galaxy Bingo and Aida Tzaneen as the main sponsors.

The amazing atmosphere and the scenic route of this event will be complimented by various food stalls, music and a beer garden with a marquis tent.

Online entries on timeme.co.za closes on 4 March and the first 500 online entries receive a free Tuffy moisture management T-shirt. All participants will however receive a goody bag and the coveted Tuffy medal.

Race numbers and T-shirts for all online entries can be collected at Aida Tzaneen, 38 Boundary street, Tzaneen on Friday, 6 March from 15:00 to 18:00 or at the start of the event from 05:00 to 05:45. If you missed the cut off date to enter online, you can still pre-enter at Aida Tzaneen, 38 Boundary Street, Tzaneen on Friday, 6 March from 15:00 to 18:00 or at the start of the event from 05:00 to 05:45.

Be sure to arrive early as many entrants are expected on the day.
