Willing to get married before falling in love?

Want to meet your perfect partner at the altar? Then look no further than 'Married At First Sight'.

Following the announcement by A+E Networks of the commissioning of a local version of Married at First Sight for Lifetime Africa, independent content creation company Oxyg3n Media put out a call for participants to take part in the local version of this worldwide hit series.

Says Oxyg3n Media’s Rebecca Fuller-Campbell:  “We have had an overwhelming response in the three weeks since the call for entries first went out and our website was swamped with single people all wanting to take part in the series in the hope of finding true love.”

Adds Fuller-Campbell:  “We have been at pains to point out that Married at First Sight South Africa is not a show for those looking for a quick fame fix, but rather a series for people who are genuinely looking to form a serious relationship and participate in a unique social experiment.”

In Married at First Sight, singles who have failed to find love put their hearts in the hands of a team of experts, who select their perfect partner; the couples then meet for the first time at the altar. After the wedding and honeymoon, the married couples move in together and start their new lives. From the first kiss to the first tears, cameras document every moment as experts analyse the relationships. Six weeks of marriage later, the couples have to make a decision: to stay together or file for divorce. Who ever said first comes love and then comes marriage?

Single men and women, between the ages of 24-36, who want to apply to participate in the show have until Sunday, July 17 to submit their details by visiting https://mafsa.castingcrane.com

Married at First Sight South Africa will broadcast on Lifetime (DStv 131) in the early part of 2017.
