Thuli flies off the handle and accuses Thandaza of stabbing her in the back. Azwindini wants the family to support Teboho. Nonny is excited about choosing a dance costume but is deflated when James cancels their first dance practice.

Azwindini and Ndalamo fight over Thuli. The Mukwevho family prepares for a Venda heritage celebration. Vele makes her return to Thathe felt.
Friday, 23 January
The Venda heritage event gets underway when the deputy-minister and the King of Vhavenda arrive. Azwindini and the King encourage the community to strive for a better life.
