WATCH: The moment Wendy Williams fainted on live TV

American talk show host Wendy Williams fainted during Tuesday’s airing of The Wendy Williams Show. Williams was dressed as the Statue of the Liberty when she passed out during an announcement of the costume contest for Halloween.

As she was talking, her voice started cracking, then she opened her eyes wide, while moving backwards before collapsing.

She apparently collapsed due to overheating in the costume. She, however, managed to get back on her feet and continued with the show.

As sad as the incident was, she has not received much sympathy from people on social media as the host is known for throwing shade at anything that moves and breathes.

Rapper 50 Cent is one of those who have been making fun of the incident, saying it looked like “bad acting” to him.

“What is this, it just looks like bad acting to me. LOL she said she over heated in her costume,” he said.

He has even reposted the video of her fainting, with laughing emoticons.
