WATCH: Ndlozi says he can’t be with Jackson Mthembu’s daughter because he’s with ‘Ginger’
The EFF MP was put on the spot by Gardee, who said he was single.

Members of parliament shared a light moment on Wednesday after Minister in the Presidency Jackson Mthembu introduced his daughter Thuli to the house. Before presenting his speech, Mthembu warned Thuli to run away should any Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) members approach her.
“Her name is Thuli, she’s up there. I just want to say to Thuli, if you see anybody wearing a red overall approaching you, run my girl! Run and don’t look back,” said Mthembu.
In response, EFF national spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi said: “Thuli, Thuli. I’m just greeting Thuli. Hello Thuli,” only to be called out by speaker Thandi Modise, who said: “We appreciate the presence of the minister’s daughter in the gallery and that’s where it ends.”
EFF secretary general Godrich Gardee then unexpectedly stood up and told the House that Ndlozi was single.
“Dr Ndlozi is not married and is available,” he said, leaving MPs in stitches, apart from Minister of Social Development Lindiwe Zulu, according to Ndlozi, who said the two were together.
“Ginger is going to be very hurt about me being available. Everyone knows I’m with Ginger,” said Ndlozi.
Zulu could not hold her laughter as the speaker told Ndlozi that parliament was not a place for such personal matters to be expressed.

Only the two know how Zulu went from being “mistress Ginger” to Ndlozi’s person after locking horns in parliament in 2015.
Zulu stood up on a point of order and called out the disorder in the House, something Ndlozi did not appreciate. He said “mistress Ginger” should not have been allowed to address the house the way she did.
