Poet Don Mattera, jazz-singer Dorothy Masuka, singer and actress Abigail Kubeka, photographer Peter Magubane and jazz trumpet-player Stompie Manana were honoured today for their status as living legends at the Africa Month Colloquia held at Trevor Huddleston centre.
In his address, Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa stressed the importance of South Africans showing their gratitude and respect for those considered to be true living legends while they are still alive.
