WATCH: Live Stream The Oscar Nominations

The awards nominees are being announced in an hours’ time and you can be there. Well, kind of...

It is early morning in Los Angeles right now, and Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick) and Tracee Ellis Ross (Black-ish) are set to announce this year’s nominees at a press conference in Hollywood.

While many of us movie fans may already have our predictions down, there’s no real way of knowing who will be the big winners at the 91st Academy Awards, set to take place on Sunday February 24.

Even the recent Golden Globes ceremony offers little guidance on who will win and Oscar night has surprised even the most seasoned of film foreseers in the past. That’s why the Oscar nominations announcements create such a buzz.

With announcements taking place at exactly 8:20am EST (15:20pm South African time) we can all ooh and ah at the lengthy list of names.

While the Academy will be live-streaming the nominations announcement across a wide variety of online platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, we have embedded the Academy’s official YouTube feed below for your viewing pleasure. You’re welcome!
