ULTRA South Africa unveils stacked phase 1 line-up for 9th edition

Africa’s most extensive electronic music festival, Ultra South Africa, has revealed the impressive Phase 1 lineup for its 2024 edition.

In 2024, the festival marks its ninth edition in South Africa, bringing some of the biggest names in global dance music to South African audiences.

Ultra South Africa is a two-day electronic music festival held in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa.

It stands as the largest electronic music festival in Africa and is a key component of Ultra Music Festival’s global expansion, spanning across twenty countries.

Scheduled for Friday, 1 March 2024, at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town and Saturday, 2 March 2024, at the Expo Centre at Nasrec in Johannesburg, ULTRA South Africa 2024 boasts a stellar roster of international heavyweights and seasoned performers.

Star-studded headliners

Among the headliners are Skrillex, an eight-time GRAMMY award winner; Dutch icon Afrojack; the stadium-filling sensation Steve Aoki; and the Dutch progressive duo W&W.

Adding to the excitement, Brazilian DJ/producer Vintage Culture will be making his inaugural appearance at ULTRA South Africa, taking the spotlight at the RESISTANCE Stage.

Promise of excellence

Adding to this outstanding roster, Major League DJz and Shimza, both renowned figures in the South African dance music scene, will be in the spotlight as headliners.
