Six Nyamane: ‘It was time’

Speaking about her departure from the show, Nyamane said she wants to grow and explore new horizons within her acting career.

“The answer is plain and simple — I wanted to [leave]. It was time. I’m a very young actress, and I’m still so hungry for more.

“I want to travel the world with this craft. I want it to open doors and take me to places I’ve never dreamt of,” she added in a TikTok video.

Nyamane said she had the best time on Generations: The Legacy and learned a lot.

“I absolutely loved my time there. The family and friends I made were so kind and welcoming. It was an honour to work with each and every one of them. I learnt so much — I seasoned myself, added some spice to what I can do. Now I’m ready to show the world this little fire burning inside me.”

What’s next?

Since her departure, Nyamane said she has been busy with casting and auditions and recently secured her first television commercial after eight years in the industry.

“We did get the Debonairs advert that is out right now. That was fun. But outside of that, I’ve also been a full-time wife and mum. Now I’m in KZN preparing for my big fat wedding.”

The actress wrapped up her lengthy video by thanking those who loved and embraced her character, Nozipho.
