‘Aubrey Tau Mzansi Tycoons’ – an inspiring entrepreneur show coming to Moja Love

The channel Moja Love has changed the nature of television locally to bring honest and real content that has become controversial and divisive. However, they are broadening their horizons.

The channel announced a new entrepreneurial show on Wednesday, led by their CEO Aubrey Tau.

The show is titled Aubrey Tau Mzansi Tycoons and will see Tau talk to successful entrepreneurs about how their journey started and how they are assisting others in their communities.

In the first episode, Bathu founder and CEO Theo Baloyi will discuss how he started one of the top sneaker brands in the country that has over a dozen of stores nationwide.

Tau says this type of show has been a long time coming. Moja Love is known for its spicy content such as the cheating series Uyajola 9/9, Rea Tsotela, Umendi, Zodwa Wabantu: Uncensored and Uthando Noxolo, which has been criticised in the past for only showing black people in a negative light.

He says Aubrey Tau Mzansi Tycoons will inspire people to start their businesses. “Entrepreneurship by its very nature takes hard work and determination. You might experience some hiccups at first or along the way but what determines your success is how you rise, dust yourself off and try again should things not pan out as planned. “

Being a TV tycoon, Tau has a mantra that he lives by, which is that businesses should never take consumers for granted nor should they be undermined.

Aubrey Tau Mzansi Tycoons will premiere on 30 January on the Moja Love, DStv channel 157 and Moja 9.9, channel 158 at 10pm.

“At the heart of a successful business is taking care of the people who work for you so that they deliver a quality product or service for people who consume the product,” he said.

Other entrepreneurs who will appear on the show include, Portia Mngomezulu of Portia M Skin Solutions and CEO Mbali Nwoko of Green Terrace.

There were those, however, who wished the show highlighted small businesses as well.
