Thursday evening’s episode of uThando Nes’thembu saw the preparations and celebration of Musa Mseleku’s birthday.
The wives had met up in a previous episode of the reality TV show to discuss throwing their husband a surprise birthday dinner.
Although some were reluctant with the idea given the fact that Musa has expressed how he does not enjoy surprise celebrations thrown in his name, the wives decided they would all come together to celebrate their husband’s birthday.
The episode began with all four wives getting dolled up in their separate homes for the special occasion.
After fetching the birthday cake and gathering all of Musa’s loved ones, they all headed to the party venue.
Mr Party finally arrived at the venue but was told to wait at the entrance and was not given a reason as to why he could not enter the building.
Once the wives and their children arrived and sat at the dinner table, Musa was given the go-ahead to enter the venue and meet his wives, thinking it was a meeting of sorts.
However, he was shocked and speechless that his wives had come together along with all of their children to celebrate his special day.
“I am numb because I’m witnessing something that has never been done before,” said Musa.
During the heartfelt speeches that each wife gave in honour of their husband’s birthday, Musa was seen taken away by his emotions and started tearing up.

“Hearing these words was supposed to make me happy, but these words humble me when looking back at the journey we have travelled,” said Musa.
After Musa’s wives and older children spoke about the love and appreciation they have for the head of their family, Musa was given the chance to speak.
He expressed with tearful eyes how he never imagined that his wives and children would do something this lovely for him.
“I never thought something of this nature would be done for me because there is an owner of this household, Flo. She is the one we have kept this household for.
“Everything I do, I do because I have to as the head of the house, not because I expect you to do something for me in return.
“Thank you all for coming together to do such a beautiful thing for me. There is nothing else I can say other than saying thank you,” said Musa.
