Mzansi Magic aired the final episode of its popular show, Gomora, on Friday, 20 October.
“Gomoraaaa! What a triumphant four-season run! Take a moment to celebrate the award-winning telenovela by sharing some of the things/moments you’ll miss most,” the channel wrote on social.
Fans and some of the cast members have since taken to their social media platforms to celebrate the show.
Taking to Instagram, actress Thembi Seete said the show carried them from February 2020. She added: “Covid hit us. But we carried on. We managed to support our families. When it was hard, the streets were quiet. All we had was each other.
“We bonded: Crew, makeup, wardrobe, office caterers, drivers, actors, and Paradise, we became a family. I looked forward to being on set because it was full of energy, laughter, positivity, and fun, and most importantly, we were all hungry to create magic, and we did.”
