It’s wedding bells for the Phakathwayo and Nkosi families as they have come together to celebrate the love between Ayanda, played by Maxx Moticoe, and Sindisiwe, played by Zenokuhle Maseko, in a two-part, three-day wedding special on The Estate.
The last two episodes of The Estate, which aired on Wednesday and Thursday evening, saw the traditional ceremonies held for the couple, who are set to have their white wedding on Friday night (15 October 2021).
Viewers of the telenovela took to social media to gush over the gorgeous traditional wedding outfits, as well as the traditional Zulu attires worn by the bride and groom.
It would not be an interesting and entertaining wedding without a love triangle and some drama.
Viewers held on to their seats throughout the wedding because they feared that Sindi’s “true love” Dumisani, played by Mpho Sibeko, would crash the ceremony and ruin the wedding.

It was a bittersweet moment for viewers when Dumisani showed up and chose to keep the peace by allowing the ceremony to proceed. Later, he wrote a letter to Sindi, asking her to leave Ayanda for him.
The connection between Castro – played by Aubrey Poo – and Mmakoena – played by Dineo Langa – could not be ignored as the two shared a special moment during the wedding ceremony.
Mmakoena was not having a great time after getting into some conflict with her husband, Leseba Molefe – played by Matli Mohapeloa – and as she was about to leave and head home, Castro approached her and asked her to stay for the rest of the wedding celebrations.
The chemistry between the two left viewers thinking they are a perfect match. And viewers felt that if Mmakoena and Ntate Molefe do not resolve their marital issues, then Castro and Mmakoena should get together.
