‘Botched’ – New season promises to have viewers in stitches

The first episode of this long-running series aired in June 2014.

The E! Network reality show Botched is back for another exciting season.

The 8th season of the show premiered earlier this month, 8 October on E! DStv Channel 124.

The show follows two expert plastic surgeons, Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif, as they repair plastic surgery procedures gone wrong.

What to expect on the new season of ‘Botched’

This season, the ultimate doctor duo returns to take on some of the most complex cases to date all while keeping the laughs rolling.

“The doctors consult with a series of hopeful patients as they unveil catastrophic trauma due to past surgeries gone wrong, birth defects, and horrific accidents,” added the statement.

Some of the unique cases that Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Nassif deal with this season include a case of a woman who experienced a disastrous infection that nearly killed her after she went under the knife for a routine tummy tuck.

Viewers will also get a front row as a woman who was left with a stomach full of lumps and scars after having five different surgeries as an infant finally gets help. The patient has a rare condition that left her intestines on the outside of her body.

“Another interesting case is of a dog bite victim who lost the entire tip of her nose and became depressed after enduring 20 separate unsuccessful surgeries to correct her face. Not forgetting a woman with an aggressive form of skin cancer went through a 10-hour procedure that left a substantial hole in her face. As a result, she has been forced to wear a prosthetic and struggles to look in the mirror.“
