The famous Mpisane family reportedly started shooting their reality TV show three months ago. The show will follow Shauwn, who has been using her maiden name Mkhize following a divorce from Sbu Mpisane, and their two children Andile and Sbahle.
The show, set to air on Mzansi Magic, will reportedly be called Durban Royalty.
Shauwn told the Daily Sun: “People will see the growth of Andile as a businessman and Good Samaritan and his music career. They will also see the recovery of my daughter.”
According to the publication, the mastermind behind the production is Legend Manqele, who gave viewers Being Bonang, Living the Dream with Somizi and Dineo’s Diary.
He told the publication: “People will see more of the mother and son relationship and the healing of Sbahle. I enjoy working with Shauwn. She is an amazing woman and [a] great businesswoman.”
The family’s known assets include 128 cars and 10 properties, including their lavish La Lucia home.
Over the last decade, the Mpisanes secured over R1 billion in government business, predominantly to build low-income houses.
