There is tension over Bongi and Lerato’s competing gifts for Zinzi. Lerato’s revenge leads to a terrible, humiliating climax for Bongi. Niki confronts Suffo with the knowledge that he slept with Puleng on their wedding day. Puleng discovers that Cuba is trying to use muti to get her to fall pregnant.

Doc kicks Bongi out of his house for her ‘drunken’ fiasco at Zinzi’s birthday party. Sifiso struggles to decide on whether he should rat Lerato out for spiking Bongi’s drink. Suffocate finds out about Niki’s efforts to find work and wants to forbid it.

Thandeka learns about the connection between David and Bongi. Niki has to swallow her pride and ask Puleng to help her with Busi. Suffo gives Niki an ultimatum. Bongi and Zinzi reunite.

Thandeka eventually can’t keep it to herself and tells Doc that David paid for Bongani to perform at Zinzi’s birthday party. Doc confronts Bongi about her involvement with David, gets hold of the wrong end of the stick and inadvertently reveals her secret.

Suffocate confides in Fats that having two wives arguing is more than he had bargained for and Fats suggests he could use his flat upstairs as an escape. Mampho thinks Shakes has turned over a new leaf. Kop’s ongoing attempts to ingratiate himself at Red Records keeps backfiring.
