Somizi may be separated from Mbau in Metro FM ‘reshuffle’

SABC station Metro FM is said to be in the process of shuffling presenters in what has been called its biggest shuffle to date. Most staffers are apparently unhappy about it, as it will separate best friends and pair others with people they don’t really get along with.

Sunday Sun has reported that Somizi, who presents Whose Show Is It Anyway, with Khanyi Mbau and Ntombi Ngcobo-Mzolo, may be moved to Glen Lewis’ The First Avenue breakfast show.

Another source reportedly told the paper that Unathi Msengana would be moved from The First Avenue to join Mbau and Ngcobo-Mzolo. The problem with the shuffle, according to the sources, is that Mbau and Msengana apparently pretend to like each other.

SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago reportedly told the publication he could not comment on the plan, as an announcement would be made toward the end of this month.
