An unfortunate incident has everyone in the newsroom looking at Lerumo in a whole new light. Lucas decides that the way to Grace’s heart could be through her audacious young son. Gontse receives good news, but this leads to some bad news for her company.

An intervention with an uncharacteristically manic Lerumo is unsuccessful, leaving him even more paranoid than before. Lucas is insulted by a young man, but decides to see it as a challenge. Gontse makes a shocking discovery and the police are called in to deal with it.

Lerumo makes a huge mistake which has terrifying consequences for him and Anzani. Lucas is shocked to discover that age does not necessarily guarantee respect. Gloria and Ndumiso are saddened by a turn of events and make assumptions about Gontse’s future.

Someone is killed, and the first anniversary of another death is marked. Grace issues her son with a far from pleasant ultimatum. Gloria takes the art of interference to a new level and Gontse is horrified.

Dintle is encouraged to persevere with a dodgy activity, and Grace is alarmed to hear that crime is being committed in her hotel. Anzani rejects an offer and repairs a relationship. Scelo pretends not to notice how attractive an older woman is. Gloria employs technology and deceit to get her way.
