This saga began in 2017, when Joyce Molamu accused Uyanda Mbuli of having an affair with her (Joyce’s) boyfriend at the time. In retaliation to the believed affair, Joyce Molamu went on to leak Uyanda Mbuli’s contact details to the public before accusing the presenter of having a relationship with her partner.
Molamu took to Facebook to air several frustrations, when she claimed that Mbuli had stolen her “businessman boyfriend” King Maseko. Molamu also labelled Mbuli a “stupid b****” in a series of fiery posts.
The matter made its way to court and after hearing both sides of the story, the judge found Joyce Molamu to be guilty of all accused charges.
The decision was made at the Midrand Magistrate’s Court on Thursday and a relieved Uyanda Mbuli affirmed that justice had been served.
She spoke to the Sowetan and said: “It’s difficult to clear your name, especially to people who don’t like you, and I think it’s okay for certain people not to like me but for those who support me, believe me and emulate what I do and see me as a role model, I really have to step up and make sure they have the accurate information,”
According to reports, Joyce Molamu continues to deny the allegations. She is due in court on the 14th of March for sentencing.
